The role involves supporting the Dispute Resolution Practice Stream to identify, pursue and convert opportunities. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and manage client relationships.
This position requires a detail-oriented professional to assist with market analysis and related research. The ideal candidate will be able to draft tenders and bid opportunities as well as support development of firm directory and award submissions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Regularly assist practice managers to identify, pursue and convert opportunities, cross-practice group initiatives
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and manage client relationships
- Assist with market analysis and related research
- Manage and draft tenders and bid opportunities
- Support development of firm directory and award submissions
- Participate in various C&M firm wide projects and initiatives as required
- Develop profile and credibility with internal clients (i.e. lawyers and other employees)
- 2-3+ years experience in business development or related field, preferably in professional services/corporate environment or demonstrated transferable experience in professional services environment
- Tertiary qualification in business-related discipline, marketing, communications or law highly regarded
- Collaborator and connector with ability to build relationships across all levels
- Highly developed communication skills, both written and oral with strong attention to detail
- Discipline to prioritise and manage complex tasks in deadline-driven environment
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships at all levels
- Technical skills in Microsoft Office and sound understanding of databases
