Job Description:

The Assistant Director role at Goodstart Townsville is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader to join our centre team. As a key member of the leadership group, you'll support the Centre Director in driving continuous improvement across all areas of centre operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Centre Director in the leadership of the team to provide high-quality early learning and care
  • Mentor and build capabilities within the centre team
  • Be responsible for the overall management of the centre in the Centre Director's absence
  • Use and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide

Requirements:

  • Diploma OR Bachelor of Early Childhood or equivalent qualification (ACECQA approved)
  • Current QLD Working with Children Check and First Aid qualification
