Job Title:

A Behaviour Support Specialist is needed to work with clients of all abilities using Positive Behaviour Support principles and strategies.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a tertiary qualification in a relevant field and be registered under the NDIS. They will also possess a Blue Card certification, NDIS Worker Screening clearance and QLD Driver's License.

Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with other professionals to develop and implement behaviour support plans.
  • Provide education and training to clients and their families on positive behaviour support practices.
  • Conduct regular reviews and evaluations to ensure the effectiveness of behaviour support plans.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in psychology, social work or related field.
  • NDIS registration (core, proficient or advanced level preferred).
  • Blue Card certification.
  • NDIS Worker Screening clearance.
  • QLD Driver's License.
