
Chief Electronics Specialist

Our organization specializes in the development and implementation of cutting-edge navigation technologies. As a senior electronics engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our industry.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in designing complex electronics, particularly precision analogue data acquisition, processing, and high-speed digital circuits. Proficiency in industry-standard tools like SPICE and Altium Designer is essential.
Key responsibilities include design analogue signal chain processing circuits, develop mixed signal processing chains, create PCB schematic designs and layouts, simulate and optimize circuits, collaborate with embedded software teams, identify and mitigate risks, communicate progress to leadership and fellow team members, design and modify 3D CAD models for fit, function, and manufacturability, document design work, lead design reviews, test readiness reviews, and production readiness reviews, peer review others' work to ensure cross-checking and documentation, design for Manufacturing and Assembly using sound engineering methodologies, and work with manufacturing and support teams to deliver and maintain hardware equipment and systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Bachelor's degree or higher in electrical/electronic engineering and/or mechatronics
- Significant experience in releasing multiple high-volume products to market
- Track record of turning high-level discussions into detailed personal work plans and reporting progress to management
- Proven attention to detail, time management, and 'follow-through'
Preferred qualifications include proficiency in promoting industry-standard design engineering principles and practices, proactive approach with initiative, personal responsibility, ownership of work, and a reputation for making things happen, highly motivated with an energetic, responsive, and decisive disposition, strong knowledge of WHS practices, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and desirable: experience with STM32 microcontrollers, Xilinx SOC/FPGA, and/or Microsemi FPGA products.
