Electronics Engineer Opportunity

At Advanced Navigation, we're driven by a culture of research and discovery with expertise spanning AI robotics and navigation technologies. As an Electronics Engineer, you'll join a diverse team to develop high-performance mixed-signal hardware for our products.

  • Design analogue signal chain processing circuits (filters, amplifiers) and digital signal circuits including high-speed interfaces.
  • Develop mixed-signal processing chains (A-D and D-A).
  • Create PCB schematic designs and layouts using Altium Designer.
  • Simulate and optimize circuits in LTSpice.
  • Collaborate with the embedded software team to ensure hardware designs meet software requirements.
  • Identify clear scope of work, communicate progress, and find and mitigate risks.
  • Design and modify basic 3D CAD models for fit, function, and manufacturability.
  • Document design work, specifications, compliance matrices, design calculations, analysis reports, drawings, test plans, test reports, and BOMs.
  • Lead design reviews, test readiness reviews, and production readiness reviews.
  • Prioritize design for Manufacturing and Assembly using sound engineering methodologies.
  • Work with manufacturing and support teams to deliver and maintain hardware equipment and systems.
Requirements:

Bachelor degree or higher in electrical/electronic engineering and/or mechatronics is essential.

  • Significant experience in designing and developing complex electronics with specific experience in precision analogue data acquisition, processing, and high-speed digital circuits.
  • Proficient in using industry-standard tools such as SPICE, Altium Designer.
  • Experience in releasing multiple high-volume products to market.
  • A track record of turning high-level discussions into detailed personal work plans and reporting progress to management.
  • Strong knowledge of WHS practices and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
