Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Home Furnishing Sales Professional to join our team in [Location]. This role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, selling IKEA products, and maintaining a clean and organized sales area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide product knowledge to support purchasing decisions.
  • Sell products with a positive attitude and contribute to business goals and growth.
  • Condense stock, unload pallets, and restock products.
  • Work closely with the fulfillment team to ensure the self-serve warehouse is well-stocked and tidy.
  • Build strong relationships with team members and other departments to promote a collaborative work environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Pasionate about home furnishing products and working with customers.
  • Proficient computer skills and ability to learn about IKEA products.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment and manage own tasks.
  • Calm and confident approach with strong communication and customer skills.
  • 'Togetherness' mindset with ability to work independently and collaboratively.

About This Role

This role is a Temporary & Permanent Part-time position with 30hrs & 40hrs/fortnight. You must be available to work a rotating roster with day and evening shifts between 8:00am to 9:30pm, including 3 out of 4 weekends in a month.

Estimated Salary Range

$56,000 - $64,000 per year, depending on experience and location.
