Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Carpenter and Craft Specialist to join our team within IKEA. The ideal candidate will have a deep passion for quality, craftsmanship, and home furnishings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support in positioning the IKEA store as the first choice for home furnishing in your local market through high-quality carpentry and paintwork.
  • Implement custom display solutions, including painting, tiling, floor laying, wall installation, and building complex furniture installations.
  • Secure high-quality results in the execution of work by using best practices and following routines.
  • Assist the Communication & Interior team with ad hoc tasks to ensure the store is always in shape.
  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organisation of the carpentry workshop.

Requirements

  • Practical, hands-on mindset with a strong willingness to get involved.
  • Experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and meeting tight deadlines while upholding quality.
  • Confident and safety-conscious when performing tasks such as painting, drilling, furniture installation, and heavy lifting.
  • Demonstrated ability to work innovatively and collaboratively with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ideal prior experience in carpentry, particularly in a commercial business context.
