Workplace Rehabilitation Specialist

At KINNECT, we're passionate about helping people achieve optimal health and well-being. As a Workplace Rehabilitation Consultant, you'll play a vital role in facilitating the return to work of injured employees, promoting injury prevention, and delivering high-quality rehabilitation services.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough assessments to determine the best strategies for facilitating the return to work of injured employees.
- Develop and implement effective workplace rehabilitation plans to promote optimal health and well-being.
- Collaborate with employers, employees, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Provide expert clinical opinions and justifications through detailed report writing.
- Manage complex injuries and coordinate with treating doctors and health professionals to support injured employees in their recovery and return to work.
- Conduct pre-employment assessments, including drug & alcohol testing, audiology, spirometry, vision, and functional testing.
- Develop job dictionaries and perform manual task risk assessments.
- Lead interactive manual handling training and implement stretching and warm-up programs.
- Conduct ergonomic assessments in workplace, home, and vehicle settings.
