Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth and profitability in Australia
  • Lead and manage a high-performing team to achieve business objectives
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including the CEO, CFO, and global function heads, to drive business results
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key customers, partners, and regulatory bodies
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer behavior to inform business decisions
  • Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives to improve profitability
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain a strong relationship with the regulator
  • Drive P&L results and EBITDA growth for OANDA Australia
Requirements
  • Three or more years of experience in a similar role in a lean, high-growth, high-change, international environment
  • Demonstrable leadership strengths, combined with the ability to develop, motivate, and lead high-performing teams
  • Strong P&L responsibility and accountability
  • Finely honed cross-cultural abilities and a willingness to travel
  • Well-developed communication skills, with strong presentation, written, and oral skills
  • Possess initiative and creativity in approach to problem-solving, while maintaining a practical perspective
  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit, with the ability to test an idea and then scale a proven concept
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with a retail aggregation platform configuration (one Zero, Prime XM, Integral)
  • Experience supporting APIs such as FIX and REST
  • Experience working directly with liquidity providers and data vendors
  • Proficiency working with issue-tracking and documentation suites such as JIRA/Confluence, or TFS/Share Point
