About the Role

The Procurement and Contracts Unit is seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for assisting and overseeing the preparation of quotations, tenders, and expression of interest through to the formal execution of the contract and procurement process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of quotations, tenders, and expression of interest.
  • Oversee the formal execution of the contract and procurement process.
  • Work with key stakeholders to ensure the efficient operation of the procurement process.
  • Ensure customer needs are satisfied and regulatory requirements are met.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Procurement/Tenders.
  • Demonstrated understanding of procurement/tenders processes within the Public Sector environment.
  • Highly developed oral and written communication skills.
  • High-level problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Commitment to ongoing excellent customer service.
  • Ability to operate within a flexible, versatile, and committed team environment.
  • High-level organisational and administrative skills.
  • Personal Computer software skills including Microsoft Word and Excel.
