Contracts Governance Officer

Permanent full-time, hours per week Salary range $1,. - $1,. per week + .5% super Generous leave and flexible working provisions

The Procurement & Contracts team facilitates Council’s centralised procurement and then assists Council’s specialist officers to manage the resulting contracts effectively.

About the role:

We are currently seeking a Contracts Governance Officer. This role is responsible for ensuring contracts are well-managed to realise value for money outcomes and contribute to the continuous improvement of Councils contract management capability.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following key skills and attributes:

Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or job-related experience in a relevant field Working knowledge of best practice contract management. Highly developed oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills. Experience in the use of document management and financial management systems. Commitment to living our values of: Respect, Integrity, Teamwork, Trust and Optimism COVID- Vaccination or Medical Contraindication Certificate upon commencement.
