About the Role:
This is an opportunity to join a dynamic team within the Procurement and Contracts Unit of Campbelltown City Council. The successful candidate will assist and oversee the preparation of quotations, tenders, and expressions of interest, ensuring the efficient operation of the procurement process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of procurement documents, including quotations, tenders, and expressions of interest.
- Oversee the procurement process from preparation to execution, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Provide high-level administrative support to the Procurement and Contracts Unit.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in procurement and tender preparation within the public sector.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- High-level problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
