This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned Human Resources leader to spearhead the HR function at a critical operation in the Australian mining sector.

About the Role
  • Strategically collaborate with site leadership to devise and implement HR solutions that support operational objectives.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing HR team by fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.

  • Oversee employment relations and industrial relations matters, including negotiations and union engagement.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive HR strategies, frameworks, and metrics that drive performance and compliance.
  • Provide coaching to senior leaders and build capability across departments through targeted development programs.

To be successful, you will possess:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related field.
  • At least 5 years' experience in a senior HR role, preferably in mining, construction, manufacturing, or other heavy industries.
  • Expertise in employment relations and industrial relations, including enterprise bargaining and union interaction.
  • Proven leadership experience – able to coach, mentor, and drive performance in teams.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience leading cultural transformation and employee engagement initiatives.
