Join us for a 24-month graduate program as a Valuer where you will work with our team to deliver professional, expert and authoritative property and valuation information.
Program OverviewThis role provides a unique opportunity to develop your skills and contribute to valuation work in line with legislation, policy and community standards.
The graduate program includes four work rotations of up to six months each with different teams within our organization. These rotations may include Rating & Taxing, Objections, Compulsory Acquisitions and Special Valuations to give breadth of training and experience.
Key Responsibilities- Develop skills to become a qualified Valuer by working on real-world projects and contributing to valuation work.
- Provide professional, expert and authoritative property and valuation information and technical advice to stakeholders.
- Support cross-cluster valuation activities and advise where appropriate.
- Location: NSW (parramatta, Newcastle, Wollongong, Queanbeyan desirable); other locations include Bathurst, Coffs Harbour, Orange, Taree or Murwillumbah.
- Remuneration: Salary ranges from $84,659 to $92,701 plus superannuation and annual leave loading.
- Flexible/hybrid working model.
We are looking for someone who is driven, motivated and committed to learning. The ideal candidate will possess:
- Strong communication, relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to achieve results through efficient use of resources and a commitment to quality outcomes.
- Ability to make decisions within delegations on valuation matters.
- Deliver on outcomes that are transparent, objective, on time and in accordance with relevant requirements.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies and how they apply.
- Student Member or Provisional Member of the Australian Property Institute.
- Completion of, or undertaking, qualifications that meet the eligibility requirements to apply for Associate Membership of the Australian Property Institute, with completion/eligibility by end of 2025.
- Current driver's licence and willingness to travel.
