Key Responsibilities:
  • Program Delivery: Develop and implement program activities that promote inclusion and personal growth among mentees.
  • Safe Transport: Safely transport mentees using an organisation's vehicle while adhering to established policies.
  • Cultivating Safe Spaces: Create a respectful environment that prioritises the well-being of young women, allowing them to thrive and grow.
  • Mentoring Relationships: Foster trust-based relationships with mentees through regular, meaningful contact, enabling them to build resilience and self-awareness.
  • Evaluation and Improvement: Document mentoring sessions to inform program evaluation and improvement efforts.

Requirements:

  • A recognised Certificate in Community Services, Education, Nursing or a related field; or currently working towards one.
  • Prior experience in a similar role or sector.
  • The ability to work sensitively with individuals who possess complex needs.
  • Demonstrated commitment to creating positive change within communities.
