Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and detailing machinery and parts using AutoCAD and 3D Modelling software.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and detailing of machinery and parts using AutoCAD and 3D Modelling software.
- Commissioning automation systems for manufacturing processes.
- Procurement of materials and parts for engineering projects.
- Machine construction and testing in our workshop.
- Factory automation design for plant upgrades, optimization, and new projects.
- Layout drawings for project proposal, planning, and execution.
- Calculations to analyze throughput and performance.
Experience in 2D or 3D CAD drafting, including the ability to produce manufacturing drawings.
Experience in mechanical design and automation.
Ability to understand and apply mechanical concepts and principles.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
About You:Qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering (or similar degrees), or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with relevant experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to learn quickly and be proactive.
Excellent time management skills with demonstrated ability to prioritize and meet targets.
Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently either independently or as part of a team.
Hold a current driver's license.
This is a full-time permanent position within our Engineering Team. To be successful in this role, you must be self-motivated and willing to put in the work needed to complete jobs in a timely manner.
Attention to detail and highest quality workmanship are paramount.
