About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to support the EHS Manager at our site in coordinating environmental, health, safety, and security activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with the EHS Manager to achieve site EHS targets and objectives.
  2. Identify hazards and environmental impacts through risk assessments.
  3. Maintain accurate records and reports using leading and lagging indicators.
  4. Suggest EHS goals and activity-based objectives to promote compliance.
  5. Support MESH element champions in their roles.
  6. Foster a strong EHS culture by promoting a zero-incident safety environment.
  7. Evaluate annual compliance with regulations and suggest improvements.
  8. Pursue third-party recognition for EHS programs.
  9. Analyze data using EHS systems like MESH Prism and Benchmark.
  10. Maintain training matrices and ensure completion of training.
  11. Resolve EHS action items in a timely manner.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated understanding of EHS requirements at various levels.
  • Strong teamwork and organizational skills.
  • Ability to support managerial initiatives and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in EHS program management and employee training.
  • NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent.
  • Professional certifications (preferred): Certified Safety Professional, Industrial Hygienist, etc.
  • Proficiency in English.
