We're looking for a Disability Support Worker Trainee to join our team. As a Disability Support Worker, you'll work alongside experienced professionals to provide high-quality care and support to individuals with disabilities.

Job Description
  • Assist in developing or implementing resident care plans.
  • Provide personal care services under supervision.
  • Meet clients' day-to-day needs under direction and according to their individual care plans.
  • Implement client skills and activity programs under limited supervision.
  • Clean and maintain the premises under limited supervision.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Basic computing skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Availability to work various shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • First Aid Certificate & CPR, or willingness to obtain.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Stress management and ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Capacity to perform physical aspects of the position.
  • Commitment to values of the organization.
  • Positive attitude towards people with disabilities.
  • NDIS Workers Check.
  • Driver's License.
  • Satisfactory pre-employment medical check.
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module.
  • Supporting Effective Communication.
  • Supporting Safe and Enjoyable Meals.
  • New Worker NDIS Induction Module.
