About This Opportunity

This position is an exciting chance to join our team as a Case Management Specialist, working with a diverse portfolio of claims and providing expert guidance to stakeholders.

You will be responsible for managing a variety of claims, from initial lodgement through to service delivery and closure, exercising sound judgment in the selection of service providers and ensuring adherence to payment procedures and fee schedules.

  • Take ownership of a varied portfolio of claims including complex claims, demonstrating leadership in problem-solving and acting as a point of guidance for associates.
Duties and Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a portfolio of claims, including complex cases, independently and demonstrating a growing ability to navigate intricate cases.
  • Providing strategic communication to stakeholders, ensuring clear and accurate information dissemination on claims entitlements and available options.
  • Leading and facilitating communication with medical rehabilitation treatment providers, ensuring a coordinated and consistent approach in complex cases.
  • Keeeping up to date with relevant legislation, injury management initiatives, and policies/procedures.
  • Conducting regular quality assurance reviews of claims activities.
Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience as an advisor or 3 years of relevant industry experience in personal injury, life insurance, or workers compensation, with a preference for those with experience working on complex cases.
