About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work with adults and/or paediatric clients in a mixed caseload setting.

  • You will conduct Functional / Activities of Daily Living Assessments and Support Needs recommendations for individuals with complex needs.
  • Assistive Technology Assessments for people with simple and complex needs, providing recommendations for devices and equipment to support their independence.
  • Fine Motor and Gross Motor therapy to improve mobility, strength, and coordination.
  • Housing needs Assessments including SIL / SDA or ILO accommodation options to ensure clients receive suitable support.
  • 1:1 Therapy - evidence-based and goal-oriented interventions to promote client progress.
  • 24-Hour seating and positioning assessment and implementation of recommendations to prevent pressure injuries and promote comfort.
  • Adult Therapy (including group or 1:1 sessions) to address cognitive, physical, and emotional challenges.
  • Manual Handling Assessments and Training to reduce the risk of injury and promote safe lifting techniques.
  • Developmental Milestone Assessments for early intervention (0-5) and / or school-aged (5-12) children to identify areas of strength and weakness.
  • Sensory Assessments and Interventions to address sensory processing difficulties and promote regulation.
  • Emotional Regulation and Behavioural strategies working with Parents / Carers / Teachers (in-clinic, homes and schools) to support clients with complex emotional needs.

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy and registration with AHPRA.
