**Job Summary**

The role of Biomedical Engineer is a permanent full-time position in the Department of Radiation Oncology. As a member of a small, dedicated team, you will provide maintenance and repair services to advanced radiation therapy apparatus used in the treatment of cancer.

About The Position
  • You will work under the direction of the Senior Biomedical Technician.
Key Responsibilities
  • Service, repair, and maintenance of radiation therapy equipment.
  • Respond flexibly and efficiently to maintain clinical services.
  • Communicate openly and effectively with the medical physics and broader clinical team and with equipment suppliers and service agents.
  • Maintain records in accordance with requirements.
Requirements
  • Diploma of Electronics & Communications Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to perform repairs and maintenance to radiation oncology equipment including high energy x-ray medical linear accelerators.
  • Team player with demonstrated organisational skills.
