We are currently seeking a skilled professional to fill the Rehabilitation Consultant role within our multidisciplinary team of allied health professionals.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting occupational rehabilitation assessments, including activities of daily living, home, worksite, functional, ergonomic, and equipment assessments. Additionally, you will conduct assessments relevant to your discipline to develop and implement effective rehabilitation plans.

Your duties will include designing and implementing intervention programs using occupation to improve functional performance, independence, and work capacity. You will also identify barriers and design, implement, and monitor programs that support individuals to achieve maximal work participation.

You will need to understand various healthcare and rehabilitation funding schemes and empower clients to achieve their wellness and recovery goals. Effective communication with clients, family members, funding bodies, medical practitioners, employers, and stakeholders is essential to achieving successful outcomes.

Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, or Physiotherapy.
  • Registration with either AHPRA or ESSA.
  • A genuine desire to make a measurable impact in people's lives.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with clients and stakeholders.
  • A customer-first mindset with a focus on quality outcomes.
  • Confidence working independently in the community.
  • Driver's licence and vehicle required.
  • Eligibility for a working with children's check and police clearance.
