Job Opportunity: Career Development Advisor

As a Career Development Advisor, you will drive meaningful employment outcomes by connecting individuals with intellectual disability to local job opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build relationships with local businesses and identify job opportunities through networking, cold calling, and business development.
  • Work one-on-one with participants to understand their goals, address barriers, and develop employment pathways.
  • Match participants to suitable roles and support them through recruitment, placement, and post-placement care.
  • Maintain accurate case notes and documentation aligned with organisational standards.
  • Meet performance targets and KPIs related to placements, customer satisfaction, and business development.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience in employment services, recruitment, training, or community services.
  • Proven success in a sales or target-driven environment.
  • Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills.
  • Understanding of employer needs and the local labour market.
  • Ability to work independently and in a dispersed team environment.
  • Experience working with people with intellectual disability or other support needs.
