Your Calling in the Classroom

This isn't a one-size-fits-all role. Kingsley College is hiring a Media Arts Teacher across Years 7–12.
Depending on your skills and interests, you may deliver one or both of these creative disciplines — with flexibility to shape the role around your strengths.

What you'll do:

• Deliver engaging content in Media Arts
• Teach in both classroom and distance education modes
• Use creative technologies (e.g. 3D printing, laser cutting) in modern learning
• Collaborate with staff to support a wide range of student needs
• Encourage learning through relationships, not just rules

Is This You? – The Educator We're Looking For

You're a qualified teacher registered in Queensland — either early career or experienced — who is excited about teaching creatively and relationally. Primary-trained teachers confident to teach junior secondary are welcome to apply.

• Experience or interest in either Film, TV and/or New Media
• Confidence using modern tools like 3D printing or multimedia editing
• Understanding of trauma-informed practice and diverse classrooms
• Cultural competence and/or experience working with Indigenous students
