About Us

  • Our clinics offer growth and development health assessments, hearing and vision checks, health promotion activities, immunisation programs, and indigenous school hearing programs.

Job Description

As an Advance Health Worker, you will work with minimal supervision, providing high-standard care to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander parents, children, and young people, and their families. You will use a primary health care model incorporating multi-disciplinary care planning approaches to meet individual and family needs.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Diploma in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care or working towards it.
  • Experience in hearing health, child and family health, and health promotion is desirable but not essential.
  • Indigenous status to the Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander community is a genuine occupational requirement under Section 25 of the Anti-Discrimination Act (Qld).
