We are seeking a highly motivated Career Development Advisor to play a vital role in supporting our mission to make possibilities a reality for people with intellectual disability.

About the Role:
  • Connect people with intellectual disability to local job opportunities through proactive employer engagement and case management.
  • Build relationships with local employers and identify job opportunities through networking, cold calling, and business development.
  • Work one-on-one with participants to understand goals, address barriers, and develop employment pathways.
  • Match participants to suitable roles and support them through recruitment, placement, and post-placement care.

As a Career Development Advisor, you will be responsible for driving inclusive employment outcomes and making a real difference in the lives of people with intellectual disability.

About You:
  • You have experience in employment services, recruitment, training, or community services.
  • You have proven success in a sales or target-driven environment.
  • You possess strong stakeholder and relationship management skills.
  • You have an understanding of employer needs and the local labour market.
  • You can work independently and in a dispersed team environment.
  • Bonus: Experience working with people with intellectual disability or other support needs is highly regarded.
