A well-established organisation is seeking an experienced professional to join their team as a Business Development Representative.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for representing the company in various markets, promoting service offerings and developing new business opportunities. They will build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders while leveraging innovative and creative approaches to achieve KPIs.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent the company to a broad range of customers within Government and Corporate sectors
- Promote service offerings and develop new business opportunities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders
- Leverage innovative and creative approaches to achieve KPIs
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Minimum 10 years' sales experience, ideally with recent experience working in the Adelaide/SA market
- Understanding of a broad range of IT services with technical nous to pick up new offerings
- Experience across software engineering, particularly Microsoft Suite of products, along with resource augmentation
- Experience selling complex enterprise solutions to clients in various sectors
- Excellent customer and vendor relationship building and management skills
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills
- Experience using Salesforce as the sales CRM for tracking opportunity progression through the sales cycle
- Desirable: Experience and good understanding of cloud-based services/solutions
