Urban Development Leadership Opportunity

Lead our team in ACT, working closely with the ACT Lead to develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives that drive growth in the sector.

  • Direct day-to-day resource allocation across the discipline to meet project requirements, identifying priorities and organizing tasks accordingly.
  • Oversee the effective planning and management of significant projects across the Discipline.
  • Manage work technically and contractually to ensure it meets technical requirements and adheres to organizational policies and procedures.
  • Ensure efficient project delivery and quality, meeting deadlines, commitments, and expectations while maintaining strong cost management across the team.
  • Identify and pursue business opportunities and oversee bid management processes in the ACT region and surrounds.
  • Coordinate resource sharing between teams within the sector.
  • Mentor and train staff to enhance their skills and abilities.
  • Foster a diverse and inclusive team culture where employees feel valued and respected.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Urban Development, excellent project management skills, and a proven track record of leadership and innovation. They will be able to effectively communicate with stakeholders, build strong relationships, and deliver results-oriented outcomes.

Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in engineering or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in the Urban Development sector.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Strong relationships in the Urban Development sector.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills and leadership ability.
  • Understanding of ACT specifications and procedures is desirable.
