About this role

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our Treasury team. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in helping us grow our deposit investor base.

  • You will be responsible for answering investor and deposit broker enquiries, preparing daily pricing and distributing it to our customers, and providing negotiated deposit pricing for large customers.
  • Another key responsibility will be monitoring interest rates to ensure they remain competitive with our drive to deliver volume and cost of funds targets.
  • You will also be inputting deals executed in the Treasury system in a timely and accurate manner, liaising with Operations to ensure all deals settle before end of day cut-off.
  • In addition, you will support the relationship management function of the desk for a broad cross section of external customers including financial institutions, superannuation funds, government, not-for-profit, private and public customers and brokers.
  • You will also support internal relationship management with retail banking, business and private banking, investor relations, operations and risk.
  • Furthermore, you will visit existing and potential new customers to support Senior Managers in achieving optimal portfolio mix in growth, cost of funds and customer diversity.
Requirements
  • Bachelor degree in Business, Commerce, Finance, Economics or related field;
  • AFMA Accreditation / RG 146 compliant within 12 months.
