Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analysis Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing accurate financial analysis, modeling and advice to community housing providers, councils and market proponents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer financial recommendations regarding market proposals for the delivery of additional social housing or affordable housing.
  • Build effective networks with State, Federal and Local Governments, financiers, industry bodies, community housing providers, and not-for-profits.
  • Maintain data integrity and perform regular reviews to ensure quality and accurate data is collected for business analysis and reporting purposes.
  • Deliver professional, expert and timely advice to colleagues and senior management to inform strategy, direction and solutions to problems.
  • Develop and lead procurement activities to ensure fair and transparent processes are released to market on behalf of government.
  • Assess housing assistance projects that are robust, evidence based and represent value for money in partnership with the community housing sector.

Requirements:

  • Highly effective communication skills.
  • Able to critically think on the job and operate independently or as part of a small team.
  • Technical understanding of relevant regulations, or the ability to rapidly acquire this knowledge.
