Job Title: Financial Modelling Specialist

A prestigious investment firm seeks a highly skilled financial modelling specialist to join their team.

  • Develop complex financial models and analyse new investment opportunities, providing data-driven insights for informed decision-making.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence and risk assessment for transactions, ensuring accurate evaluations of potential investments.
  • Prepare comprehensive investment committee papers and liaise with key stakeholders, including consultants and experts.
  • Evaluate risks related to debt and equity financing, incorporating market research and economic trends.
  • Outline proposed debt and equity structures and provide recommendations to the Investment Committee, taking into account various scenarios and outcomes.
  • Assist in investment management and origination activities, supporting the development of the firm's portfolio.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Finance, Commerce, or related field.
  • CA or CFA qualification is advantageous.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred, although internships are also valued.
  • Passion for real estate investment management and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and financial modelling skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
