We are seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to lead our building design team in Newcastle.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional to connect with our global team of experts within a large and well-established international consultancy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing structural designs for buildings, conducting inspections, assessments, and reporting.
  • Collaborating with architects, project managers, building services, and civil engineers in multidisciplinary teams delivering iconic projects.
  • Project management and leading teams for successful project delivery.
  • Working on projects from conception through to final design and construction surveillance.
Requirements:
  • A relevant university degree in Civil and/or Structural Engineering.
  • Minimum 8-12 years' industry experience as a Structural Engineer, with specific depth of experience in building design projects in a consulting environment.
  • Experience utilising a broad range of skills across various types of buildings and materials.
  • Membership of Engineers Australia and working towards CPEng and NER registration is desirable.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Australian Building Codes and Standards.
  • Ability and willingness to mentor junior engineers.
