Lead Technical Operations Specialist

The successful candidate will oversee the Development & Building business unit, leading a high-performing technical team to deliver projects and drive business development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and mentor the Development & Building team to achieve quality and professional growth.
  • Drive accountability, performance, and foster a culture of ownership, learning, and technical excellence.
Project Delivery & Operational Oversight:
  • Oversee project planning and resourcing, ensuring high-quality outputs and compliance with codes and regulations.
  • Support proposal writing and tender responses, maintaining effective relationships with government, clients, and industry stakeholders.
Business Development & Client Relationships:
  • Build strategic relationships with key stakeholders to drive business development initiatives aligned with company goals.
  • Represent the organization at events and within networks, promoting collaboration and partnerships.
Financial Management:
  • Manage forecasting, budgets, and reporting for the business unit, aligning financial and business goals.
  • Oversee financial health and profitability, working closely with senior management to inform business decisions.
Safety & Quality:
  • Uphold rigorous standards of ISO9001 and WHS, championing continuous improvement and compliance throughout the organization.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
