Project Support Specialist

The HumeLink West project is a significant undertaking that requires the delivery of new 500kV double circuit transmission lines spanning ~143kms from Wagga Wagga Substation to a new Substation at Gugaa. The scope of works includes delivery of new transmission lines, a range of other new and upgraded infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level administrative support by coordinating correspondence, preparing reports and handling information requests.
  • Timely and accurate preparation and submission of expense claims on behalf of site staff.
  • Assist in managing rosters, including data entry and record checking.
  • SAP input and maintenance of purchase orders, including goods receipt, journals and queries.
  • Assist with collecting and collating timesheet information.
  • Provide site office support, accurate data entry, filing and daily diary management.
  • Purchase of materials, equipment and consumables including co-ordination of delivery to site.
  • Maintain systems and procedures for contractual requirement.
  • Liaise with customers, suppliers, employees and public, both internal and external, ensuring positive interaction.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar administration role.
  • Intermediate / Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
  • Ability to collaborate as part of a supportive high-performing team.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently to organise and prioritise demands, handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously, set and meet deadlines and follow-through within a fast-paced environment with multiple and competing demands.
  • Ability to communicate both orally and in writing.
  • Any experience in SAP will be highly regarded for the role.
