As a key member of our infrastructure project team, we are seeking a skilled Site Engineer to play a pivotal role in delivering major upgrades and replacement of existing facilities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Project Engineer/Project Manager in pre-construction, construction, and post-construction stages. This will involve providing engineering expertise in design, fabrication, and construction, as well as managing contracting operations against agreed objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the development of scopes of work through scoping investigations
  • Preparing and compiling site documentation prior to works commencing
  • Coordinating and supervising work activities over multiple crews and locations
  • Monitoring and controlling expenditure on jobs
  • Reviewing Health, Occupational Safety and Training (HOTO) documentation

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Australian citizenship is desirable
  • A Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) degree or similar qualification
  • Graduate membership of the Institution of Engineers Australia or Institution of Professional Engineers New Zealand
  • Previous experience as a site engineer or graduate engineer
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • The ability to work productively in a team environment
