**The Opportunity**
Inland Rail is a 1600-kilometre Freight line that will connect Melbourne and Brisbane via regional Victoria, NSW and Brisbane. This is one of the largest rail infrastructure projects happening in the country today and we’re looking for an experienced Traffic Coordinator to come and be part of it.
- Support effective planning, programming and delivery of works
- Work closely with site delivery team and provide knowledge and advice on traffic management strategies.
- Ensure work / traffic management is carried out according to safe working methods and best practice procedures (TCAWS and other legislation) by carrying out regular site audits
- Identify areas that can be improved and report to line managers
- Work with service provider / traffic control contractor to install, maintain, remove and record temporary traffic management and control systems
- Assist with ensuring appropriate training qualifications and competence requirements are in place and monitored for the traffic management providers
- Carry out duties as directed by line manager
