Job Opportunity:

  • The role involves providing high-level legal expertise to a business, working closely with management and staff to identify, assess and manage legal risks associated with its activities.
  • Key responsibilities include advising on complex legal issues, drafting and reviewing legal documents, managing litigation and external legal advisors, and providing training to the business on legal matters.

About You:

  • To be successful in this role, you will require a tertiary qualification in law and a current practising certificate, as well as 3-5 years of post-admission experience in general commercial work, litigation and intellectual property.
  • You should possess strong technical legal skills, including negotiation, advice provision and drafting, as well as excellent project management and problem-solving abilities.
  • A strong understanding of legal and business principles is essential, particularly in relation to statutory corporations.
  • Your ability to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders at all levels will also be highly valued.
