Nuclear Project Leadership Role

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our nuclear initiatives, providing strategic direction and overseeing major projects.

  • Geotechnical and environmental consulting to guide site selection, project planning, and regulatory approval.
  • Construction quality oversight including inspection, testing, and QA/QC to ensure compliance with nuclear standards.
  • Civil and infrastructure engineering for upgrades, maintenance programs, and major facility modifications.
  • Nuclear Quality Assurance (NQA) program management.

This position requires leadership skills to drive complex projects forward, developing and implementing project plans, timelines, and budgets. Strong collaboration skills are necessary to work closely with clients to understand project requirements and develop solutions.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Geotechnical Engineering or Geology.
  • Minimum 15 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) or Geologist (PG), ideally in multiple states where S&ME operates.
  • Experience in nuclear licensing, site investigations, and QA programs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; attention to detail; and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite, including Project.
