**About the Opportunity**

The NRSM will be part of the ASC Nuclear Oversight Team, collaborating both externally and across the company to ensure that ASC is nuclear ready to support the government's "Optimal Pathway". Additionally, this role will assist in adopting Nuclear Mindset Principles and developing ASC's nuclear culture within ASC and the wider enterprise.

This full-time role is based at either our site in Osborne SA or Henderson WA.

**Responsibilities**
- Develop the regulatory engagement strategy for identifying and coordinating ASC's relationship and interactions (e.g. ARPANSA, ANNPSR, ASNO) through the multiple life cycle phases and the management of licensee transition periods.
- Deliver and manage nuclear standards framework.
- Establish license conditions and nuclear standards framework.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders regarding the continued implementation and development of Nuclear Mindset training and cultural implementation of a business wide nuclear mindset to ensure an appropriate nuclear culture is developed.
- Ensure compliance with safety, safeguards, and security throughout the project lifecycle in a complex and challenging environment that requires adaptability and tenacity to ensure regulator engagement.
- Please note: Availability for collaboration calls outside normal working hours (UK / US time zone) is required infrequently). Domestic and international travel may also be required on an infrequent ad hoc basis._

**About You**
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, or equivalent experience in a complex asset management/development environment
- 7+ years' experience within regulatory affairs of nuclear or other highly regulated industry;
- Specific experience within nuclear regulation, code of practice and guidance interpretation will be highly regarded;
- Demonstrated experience managing and maintaining inter-organizational stakeholders and external regulatory organisations
- Proven experience coordinating with a team of technical personnel in complex and changing environments.
- Knowledge of systems engineering and 'requirements management' principles.
- Proficiency managing regulatory documentation and maintaining compliance records
- Proven negotiation skills and able to engage professionally and constructively with complex stakeholders

**Eligibility**

This role requires a current National Police Clearance, an Australian Defence Security Clearance and an ability to access protected US defence technology. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearances and approvals.
