**Description**
**Sydney Adventist Hospital,** fondly known as 'The San', is NSW's largest private hospital with over 700 beds, including 523 licensed overnight beds. The San's 2,300 staff, 300 volunteers and 1,000 accredited medical practitioners care for more than 60,000 inpatients and 118,000 outpatients annually. Emergency Care, operating 24/7/365, treats approximately 20,000 patients each year making it NSW's largest and busiest private Emergency Department.
The hospital provides comprehensive acute surgical, medical and obstetric services with 23 operating theatre and endoscopy suites, 3 cardiac catheterisation laboratories, intensive care and coronary care units, renal dialysis unit, rehabilitation and sleep studies units, a leading multi-disciplinary Integrated Cancer Centre, and an extensive range of diagnostic, allied health and support services.
**San Radiology & Nuclear Medicine (SRNM)** is a well-recognised leader in the provision of comprehensive diagnostic and nuclear imaging and interventional radiology services, performing more than 90,000 examinations and procedures a year. SRNM provides both hospital and community-based imaging services across three locations.
**THE OPPORTUNITY**
With continued growth in PET/PET-CT and oncological imaging services, we are seeking a dynamic, driven and suitably experienced Dual Qualified Radiologist / Nuclear Medicine Specialist to join our imaging team and participate in the multidisciplinary development of cancer services for patients at Sydney Adventist Hospital.
**Requirements**:
**ROLE REQUIREMENTS**
You will be required to:
- Provide quality-focused reporting and procedural services, with a primary focus on diagnostic imaging (including PET-CT).
- Promote and strengthen imaging services as part of a multidisciplinary team to our referrers and community.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team and other clinical meetings to ensure optimal management and care pathways for our patients.
- Participate in clinical trials and research relevant to oncological imaging across both diagnostic and nuclear imaging streams (with dedicated research time provided).
**CRITERIA**
Essential Criteria
- Fellow of the RANZCR.
- Fellow of the AANMS.
- Current Specialist registration with AHPRA.
- Current EPA (NSW) Radiation User Licence for Nuclear Medicine (S4) and Radiology (IA4).
- Minimum of three (3) years' experience in the provision of diagnostic and nuclear imaging services.
- Operate under a medical services company (contractor engagement).
Desirable Criteria
- Postgraduate fellowship and subspecialisation in Body Imaging.
- Subspecialty interest and experience in prostate imaging (MRI and PET-CT).
- Demonstrated competence in Tier A interventional procedures.
**OTHER**
- Full-time or part-time (minimum 3 days a week) will be considered.
- An attractive and competitive remuneration package is available.
- Weekend and Public Holiday shift participation required (as negotiated).
- No on-call commitment is required.
