IT Infrastructure Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Infrastructure Leader to join our Digital and Information Technology team at Sydney Olympic Park. As a key member of our Support Hub team, you will play a crucial role in designing and supporting our IT infrastructure, ensuring it is reliable, scalable, and secure.
About the OpportunityThe successful candidate will lead the IT infrastructure roadmap design and execution, overseeing IT projects from initiation to delivery. You will be responsible for providing expert guidance to other IT engineers, conducting patching and vulnerability management of systems, and leading the design, implementation, migration, security, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage, and cloud environments (Azure, M365).
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement Microsoft 365, network infrastructure, cybersecurity, and cloud environments, DevOps Pipeline, cloud infrastructure automation.
- Provide expert guidance to other IT engineers and ensure minimal disruption during upgrades and maintenance.
- Conduct patching and vulnerability management of systems.
- Lead the design, implementation, migration, security, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage, and cloud environments (Azure, M365).
- Mentor team members, increase their capability, provide professional development, and ensure outcomes and deadlines are met effectively.
This attractive position offers a competitive salary package commensurate with experience and skills, up to $120,000 per annum, plus 11.5% Super + Tax-Free Salary Packaging available up to $15,900.

RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- At least 5+ years of hands-on experience in systems engineering, with a focus on Microsoft 365, Azure, Linux, Windows Server, MS Exchange, network infrastructure, and devices.
- At least 3+ years of experience leading a systems and network engineering team in cloud and on-premise.
- Proven experience in design and successful execution of cloud infrastructure and ISMS in Healthcare or similar industry.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience in Azure DevOps, Power Automate, and IaC.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders and suppliers.
Certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, CISSP, Azure are highly desirable.
