Anduril Industries is a pioneering defense technology company that is revolutionizing the military capabilities of the US and its allies. We are seeking an experienced Accounting and Financial Manager to join our Australian subsidiary and play a key role in shaping our financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the end-to-end accounting processes in Australia, including financial reporting, month-end close, accounts payable, accounts receivable, tax, and payroll.
  • Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, ASIC regulations, and local tax reporting deadlines.
  • Coach and develop junior team members, providing guidance and support to help them grow in their careers.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for our statutory audit, responding to auditor requests and ensuring a smooth audit process.
  • Act as the liaison between the US parent company and the Australian subsidiary, facilitating communication and collaboration on financial matters.
  • Work on ad-hoc projects with various accounting and finance stakeholders, including inventory cost accounting, cash flow forecasting, transfer pricing, and fixed asset management.
  • Monitor local bank account balances and manage liquidity for payment runs.
  • Build and scale a local accounting team as Anduril Australia grows.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • CA/CPA qualification.
  • 3-5 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably in public accounting, industry, or both.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with teams across multiple time zones and departments.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with inventory cost accounting, A-IFRS, intercompany transactions, foreign currency translations, and transfer pricing.
