Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to oversee the coordination and execution of import cargo movements.

This role will involve managing shipment activities, including receipt of customer bookings, documentation requirements, and local and international transportation.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for providing guidance and support to less experienced team members.

  • To coordinate and complete all shipment level activities
  • To provide support, guidance and training to less experienced / newer team members as needed

Key Responsibilities:

Import Cargo Management
  • To lead the planning and execution of BMSB seasonal protocols
  • To ensure accurate and timely reporting of import cargo
  • To maintain visibility across shipments and support internal and external stakeholders with relevant updates
Operational Excellence
  • To ensure that all relevant quality KPIs are met or overachieved on a consistent basis
  • To manage EDO handovers and oversee billing activities
Relationship Building
  • To build and maintain strong relationships with CFS and shipping lines
Issue Resolution
  • To resolve issues in day-to-day delivery and implement best practices
