We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Support Nurse to join our Education Team at Kilmore District Health.

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a registered nurse with a passion for education and training to contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care and support staff development. As a Clinical Support Nurse, you will be responsible for providing expert clinical guidance and support to nursing staff, students, and other healthcare professionals.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing direct clinical support to nursing staff in their daily practice
  • Developing and delivering educational programs to support staff learning and professional development
  • Liaising with clinical leaders and educators to ensure that clinical standards and best practices are maintained
  • Conducting regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed

You will work closely with the Clinical Education Coordinator and other members of the Education Team to achieve these goals. If you have a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for education and training, we would love to hear from you.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse/Midwife
  • A minimum of 5 years recent practice in a chosen area of nursing
  • Postgraduate qualifications or working towards them
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
