About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Virgin Australia as a key member of our leadership team. As the General Manager, Operations Transformation, you will play a critical role in driving operational excellence and transformation across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive transformation plan to drive operational excellence and efficiency across the organization.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, leveraging technology and innovation to drive business outcomes.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to develop and implement strategic plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Manage and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of transformation initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including employees, customers, and partners.
  • Provide strategic guidance and support to operational teams to drive business growth and improvement.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with transformation initiatives, ensuring a smooth and successful implementation.
  • Develop and manage budgets and resources to support transformation initiatives.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in leadership roles, with a strong track record of driving operational excellence and transformation.
  • Extensive knowledge of business strategy and operations, with a focus on process improvement and innovation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and drive business decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on delivering results and driving business growth.
  • Strong understanding of organizational culture and change management principles.
