Job Title: Property Lawyer

Overview of the Role

We are seeking an experienced Property Lawyer to join our team based in Sydney.

  • This role is ideal for a lawyer with 1-3 years post-qualification experience (PQE) who has expertise in property law and can work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of property matters, including negotiating and documenting leases, renewals, sales, and acquisitions. You will also be responsible for providing strategic, risk-balanced legal advice and collaborating with other lawyers and stakeholders to achieve key objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Negotiating and documenting agreements for lease, lease renewals, options and variations to support the expansion of our retail and hotel portfolio across Australia.
  2. Assisting with negotiating and documenting acquisition agreements to support portfolio expansion.
  3. Providing legal advice and guidance on landlord disputes and related matters.
  4. Supporting us to obtain planning permits for opportunities within the property portfolio, including contested cases.
  5. Constructively challenging ways of working to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
