Strategic Property Law Expertise

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced lawyer to join our team as a strategic property law expert. In this role, you will be responsible for providing advice on complex legal matters related to property, construction, development, and finance.

  • You will have the opportunity to work on large-scale transactions and projects, utilizing your expertise in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts.
  • Your experience in managing legal risks and compliance obligations will ensure seamless project delivery.
  • As a senior lawyer, you will be expected to oversee external legal advisors and provide guidance on the preparation of scopes of work and terms of engagement.
  • You will collaborate with internal teams on property transactions, acquisitions, disposals, procurement processes, and financing activities.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A Bachelor of Laws (LLB) with a current Australian practicing certificate.
  • A minimum of five years' post-admission experience in property, construction, development, and finance law.
  • Extensive experience in managing complex transactions, preferably in a mid to top-tier law firm or a large in-house legal team focusing on real estate transactions.
  • Advanced drafting, negotiation, and advisory skills, with the ability to present complex legal issues in clear, practical language.
