The position of Field Service Engineer is a pivotal role within our organization, requiring an individual with exceptional technical expertise and outstanding communication skills.

Job Description:

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, performance maintenance, troubleshooting, and support of scientific instruments across various locations. Your primary objective will be to ensure seamless operations, meeting customer expectations while adhering to regulatory requirements.

You will collaborate closely with external and internal customers to establish and maintain effective relationships, driving mutual understanding and trust. Additionally, you will work in conjunction with the Sales team to identify potential business opportunities and contribute to strategic growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Installation, performance maintenance, troubleshoot, and support Waters' product suite (LC, LC/MS, HPLC/UPLC, SFC, Informatics)
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with external and internal customers
  • Manage customer expectations and ensure compliance regulations are followed
  • Work with Sales team to identify future business development opportunities
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you must possess a strong educational background in Chemistry or Biology, engineering, or related fields. A minimum of three years of experience working with scientific instrumentation, preferably with Waters' product suite, is also required.

  • Bachelors/Masters Degree in Chemistry or Biology, engineering, or other science-related fields
  • At least 3 years of experience with scientific instrumentation, preferably with Waters product suite
  • Strong customer focus, communication skills, and analytical mindset
