Project Manager Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager to oversee multiple projects from inception to closure. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing complex projects, effective stakeholder management, and prioritization of tasks.

The successful candidate will take full responsibility for project delivery, including creating project plans, budgeting, and managing expenditure. They will also establish project milestones, chair meetings, and ensure timely documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Understand client requirements and develop tailored solutions
  • Manage project stakeholders and ensure effective communication
  • Prioritize tasks effectively and manage project timelines
  • Establish project budgets and manage expenditure
  • Create detailed project programs with clear milestones
  • Chair project meetings and ensure timely documentation
  • Lead tender preparation, contract negotiation, and administration
  • Conduct value engineering and buildability analysis
  • Manage variations and approvals
  • Implement health and safety systems
  • Assemble and lead consultants, contractors, and suppliers
  • Manage project closeout and financial reconciliation
Requirements
  • Degree in Project or Construction Management or related field with 6+ years' experience OR 10+ years' experience in Design, Construction, or Project Management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and Microsoft Project
  • Strong understanding of project delivery methods and ISO standards
  • Commercial negotiation skills and ability to manage client relationships
