Electrical Estimator Role

We are seeking a skilled electrical estimator to play a pivotal role in our Bidding Energy and Resources Team in Sydney.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate contract value estimates and cost plans for various tenders and engineering studies.

About the Responsibilities:

  • Review requests for proposals and tenders to develop efficient pricing strategies
  • Develop and implement first principle estimates, including allowances for risk and contingency
  • Analyse benchmarks and historical costs to inform pricing models
  • Collate material take-offs and job costs into presentable spreadsheets or databases
  • Work directly with the Planning team to align estimates and schedules

You Will Bring:

  • Degree qualification with significant on-the-job experience
  • Experience with database estimating packages
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare accurate first-principles estimates within strict deadlines
  • 4+ years' minimum experience in an estimating role
  • 4+ years' experience within the Energy and Resources sector
